SALE REPORT – CHRISTMAS CRACKERS DUNGANNON IN-LAMB SALE
SALE DATE – 16TH DECEMBER 2022
Taking top price of 1500gns at Dungannon’s Society in-lamb sale on Friday 16th December was an entry from S Allen & A Short, Derg Flock, Co. Tyrone. This Derg (Import) is a daughter of Van de Brake and was out of A Westerhuis, she sold scanned in-lamb to Matts Firetrap 1315 to Pluincéid Donnelly, Co. Tyrone.
Selling for the next leading price at 1000gns was Tullyear Fifi consigned by Mr A Cowan from his Tullyear flock based in Banbridge, Co. Down. Fifi sired by Sunnybank Excalibur and out of a Innishmore female, she was knocked down to Douglas Nisbet also from Banbridge.
Also selling for 1000gns was a ewe lamb entry from Mr A Cowan, Tullyear Flock. This entry, also sired by Sunnybank Excalibur and out of Tullyear Debra, sold on to a William McAllister from Co. Antrim.
Another entry from the Derg Flock from S Allen & A Short sold for 800gns. This Derg (Import) was also a daughter of Van de Brake out of A Westerhuis, she was successfully sold to John Monks, Dublin, also in-lamb to Matts Firetrap 1315.
Selling for at 720gns was Mullaghmeen Faith consigned by Thomas Kerr from the Mullaghmeen Flock. Faith, sired by Derg Dictator out of Fyfin Blues Dianthe, daughter of Saltire Blue A Topper. She was knocked down to Robert Gilmore, Co. Tyrone, in-lamb to Cleenagh G-Unit 1025.
Averages – 14 In-Lamb Ewes £679.35; 18 Ewe Lambs £341.25
