CHARITY AUCTION

Date Posted: 30th September 2016

Ryhs Cooke has been poorly, as many of you will know and his sister Lauren posted this on Facebook today. We are delighted that Rhys is on the mend and our best wishes go to him and his family for a speedy recovery from what must have been a very tough time.  Please try and support the auction if you can.  Thank you.

As I'm sure you all are aware Rhys  has been very poorly in The Intensive Care Unit in Nevill Hall Hospital until last week. He had something called 'rhabdomylosis' (I know we'd never heard of it either!) The ITU Unit in Nevill Hall saved Rhys' life, without them he without a doubt would not be here today. Those of you who have spent anytime in the unit would know they are amazing to both patient and family. Rhys is home now and on the long road to recovery, the muscles in his legs have been effected the most so needs to have ongoing phisio to build his muscles back up. We as a family are holding a charity evening to make money for The ITU Unit in Nevill Hall so they can buy more machines to save more life's it will be held at The Hogs Head on Saturday 29th October 7pm onwards. We are holding an Auction having a Raffle, Food along with 'The Four Amigo's' band and Disco. It's will be £15 per person or if you would like to book a table of 10/12 your welcome to do so. Any donations to Auction or raffle gratefully recieved. Please call us 01600780568 to book. We as a family would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for all your phone calls and visits since rhys has been ill. Really means alot. Hope to see you all on 29th! Xx Lauren Cooke
